You have to pull out some screws and bolts from around the wheel well to pull it down to get clearance in order to pull the PCM out. The installation actually went smoother than I expected. I ordered my chip from from Stricly Diesel in Arizona.
I got the changer that mounts off an existing gauge, the other option is a tune changer that is the shape of a 2 /16 gauge, so if you have a empty gauge spot or want it on your steering column, you can mount it there as well. You can see what tune your in and you dont have to drill your dash or anything like that to mount a knob. The thing that I really liked was the Gauge mounted program vhanger. Not that any other chip company has tunes that arent good, I just liked the set up of the Dp tuner the best. I liked all the options it had and the tinees that were offered. Here'it goes.Ī few months ago while looking around for a chip, the one that appealed to me the most was the Dp tuner.
I figured I would do one for all the guys debating wether to get this chip or not or just for guys looking for different options. I was looking around on here for a review of the DP-Tuner specifically for the OBS guys and I was unable to find one.
